E-banking and consumer debt

چکیده

Canadian consumers have a debt problem and averaged nationwide debt-to-income ratio of 1.654 in 2016. Based on current research, it is unclear whether e-banking has positive or negative impact this ratio. This paper hypothesises that increases consumer access to capital, - using survey data discovers enhances the consumer's ability debt, thus leading an increase by two dollars more for every dollar earned. We suspect higher willingness pay, along with preferring be rejected loan via web portal, leads customers request loans portal as opposed going bank. Concluding, recommends government monitoring relationship between personal debt.
